You must apply for your certified pesticide dealer license if you sell restricted use pesticide products.

You must have a commercial pesticide applicator license if you do any of the following in New Jersey:

• You offer pesticide application services (for example, pest extermination)
• You apply pesticides as part of government work (for example, in public schools)
• You do work that includes pesticide application (for example, pet grooming)

To Get Your License

You must apply for your pesticide applicator business license if you do any of the following in New Jersey:

• You offer pesticide application services (for example, pest extermination)
• Your work includes pesticide application (for example, pet grooming)

If you have more than one location, you will need a separate license for each one.

You must apply for your pesticide dealer business license if your business is responsible for distributing or selling restricted use pesticide products.
