• Have in mind that the A-901 license process takes 14 to 16 months

You need an A-901 license to transport solid or medical waste generated by other people or businesses.

You need a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license if you want to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) during a tax audit, prepare an audited financial statement, review financial statements, or file reports with the Securities and Exchange Committee (SEC).

You need to register your accounting firm with the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy Law and obtain certification.

You need an acupuncturist license to offer services as an acupuncturist.

You need a Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration if you, your business, or your facility handle, store, or use CDS for research purposes or to test other substances. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Email the NJ Drug Control Unit (DCU) at cds@dca.njoag.gov to request the Analytical Lab or Researcher CDS Registration application.
2. After your completed application has been emailed to the DCU, they will email you an invoice to pay your fees online.
3. Be sure to register with the DEA to validate your CDS registration. You will need your CDS number for this process. Email a copy of your DEA registration to the DCU within 60 days.

You or any staff providing architectural services need an architect license.
