You need a permit to operate an electrical contracting business. Business applications are reviewed monthly. Your application must be received ten days prior to the Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors monthly meeting to be reviewed during the current month.

You must have a license to work as an electrologist in New Jersey.

If you own a space and installed an elevator device(s) or plan on installing one, you must register the device(s) with the State before you can operate it. The device(s) must pass all installation inspections before you can apply to register. If you purchased a space with an elevator device(s) already installed, you must update the existing registration and transfer the ownership to you.

You must register as a temporary help service firm to place job seekers who are on your payroll with clients for temporary help services in New Jersey.

You must register as a career consultant agency to provide career consulting services in New Jersey. Submit your application through the Regulated Business (RGB) Online Registration Portal.

You must submit applications for both the agency and the agent.
